I’m 20 years old, very energetic, caring and determined. I’ve had quite a few jobs over the course of two years. In 2015, my mother contracted a flesh eating disease. She was hospitalized for about 3 months. During this period, I kept up with maintenance of the house, cooked for my younger siblings, took them to school, amongst other things.
When she was discharged, I had to care for her. For about a year, I became my mother’s primary care taker. This was quite a task sometimes, inclusive of me changing my mother’s bandages, cleaning her wound, driving her to her appointments, and helping her with therapeutic exercises to regain strength in her legs. Although this was a challenging job, I loved being a big help!
