Cynthia’s Bio
I have had no formal training as a companion, but have had personal experience as a care giver with my family. My mother was sick for two years and lived with our family. She had spent several weeks in a nursing home and was very unhappy and seemed to be over meditated. We brought her home with our family, and she, enjoyed the children , laughter and just being part of the family.
I, also had the same situation with my husband and the doctor wanted him to go from the hospital to a nursing home for rehab. He spent two weeks there and begged me to bring home, which I did. He spent the last four months happy to be home watching funny movies with family. I know there is a time when someone needs to be in a nursing home, but if they can be at home with familiar things as long as possible.
I am in good health, and have a great deal of energy and would like to share that with others.
