Jane K. Care Companion in Rock Hill, SC 29730

I am a recently widowed mother of one grown boy, and have recently relocated to South Carolina to be close to him. From the time I was younger, I helped take care of elderly family members.  I have worked with seniors who have been in wheelchairs or used canes and walkers to get around, and while I can easily push wheelchairs, I am unable to lift a person into one. I have helped out with light housekeeping, as well.  I am able to help with dishes, vacuuming, taking out trash and other light duties.  If my client needs help with cooking, I would be happy to provide help with that as well. [I'm a very good cook! :)] My mother and mother-in-law have had Alzheimer's, and thus I am very experienced in how to talk to patients with this disease and work with them as well.  However, I am also respectful of the family's wishes in how they would like them to be treated and can adapt easily. I would be happy to explain any experience in depth, if that would help you decide if I would be a good companion for your loved one.
