Although my education and license is in Dietetics, it is through this career that I found a passion for working with the senior population. During college, I spent one unforgettable spring break participating in the Widows Watchmen Ministry in Honea Path, SC. After college, I found my first job working in a nursing home/rehabilitation facility in Simpsonville, SC. During the past two years of this job, I also spent the weekends caring for my grandparents which gave me additional experience in Alzheimer's/Dementia care along with the experience I received at the nursing home. Since deciding to leave my full time job to see new opportunities, my heart continues to go back to caring for seniors. With this in mind, I am looking for opportunities to help families trying to care for elderly family members at home and give their family the best quality of life in their golden years!
