I've been caring for several seniors in and around the Vermillion area for almost two years. I had no idea how fulfilling and enjoyable the experience would be until after I had begun. It can be a challenge for some elders to stand for long periods of time, so I'm comfortable fixing meals, making beds - anything that needs to be done. I have been told that I act as their "arms and legs". Sometimes the chores aren't as important as the company, so I'm also completely comfortable listening to stories, and chatting about the day.
