September 2007 - January 2009: Regional Emergency Management Specialist for the Health and Human Services Administration of Children and Families (HHS/ACF) providing emergency management support to federal, state, tribal and local agencies, with an emphasis on ESF 6/8, the National Response Framework, National Incident Management System, National Preparedness Goal, and the National Strategy Planning for Pandemic Influenza. Coordinate with federal agencies and stakeholders, including FEMA, the American Red Cross, and non-governmental organizations providing guidance and recommendations as the onsite coordinator during events. Conducts training and exercises in support of national plans. Assisted in rewrite of EFS Guides and the NRF:
