Barbara’s Bio
I have worked with DIDD citizens for thirty five years in the capacity of administrative clerical for the State of Tennessee. With retirement eminent - soon, I am hoping to establish secondary income to supplement my retirement. I have past and present experience as a companion caregiver as I cared for my father during his terminal cancer and am now caring for my 83 year old mother. Although I do not have any certification in the medical field I have worked with doctors and nursing staff regarding the medical needs for the citizens we serve. I have obtained extensive medical knowledge both in my job and secular life in caring for people in need and dependent on someone else to have those needs met. I am a very compassionate, empathetic person who cares intensely for others.
