John Sperrazza served for 10 years with the US Coast Guard on a Tactical Law Enforcement Team out of Miami pre and post 911 following terrorism and the illegal drug trade all over the globe. After his second tour of duty John served for 8 years as a Deputy/Detective in Vice/Narcotics tasked force to the DEA for a Florida Sheriff’s office and one year as the Lead Investigator/Operations Supervisor for the Department of Homeland Security-USCIS Application Support Center in Ft. Myers, Florida. In 2010 following the earthquake in Haiti he opened S.P.A.Z. Safety and Protection from A-Z, an International Executive Protection/Corporate Investigations firm and several State of Florida sanctioned Security and Firearms Training Centers with branches in Orlando, Punta Gorda, Sarasota, Ft. Lauderdale and Fort Myers providing protective security services/training to those in need both within the United States and abroad. From 2012 to 2014 S.P.A.Z llc trained more security personnel in the South Florida area then ANY Class DS school. He also owns and operates OP31 FL Tactical Training grounds in Punta Gorda, Florida and is responsible for the training and certification of over 200 security contractors in force protection operations monthly. In 2015 John signed on as President of OP4 Security Solutions to meet the growing need for professionally trained security personnel needed in the Florida area.

John has just recently finished an 18 month stint protecting a very influential confidential executive figure in the Naples Florida area.

In 2016 John opened another OP31 training branch this time in Enville, Tennessee where he plans to eventually retire from the industry.

In his 20+ years of service John has been tasked with protecting many clients from all walks of life ranging from celebrities on MTV/BET/TLC/National Geographic networks to financial and government clients to include CNN political analysts/political dignitaries for the Haitian government and protective details for President Bush while attached to the Sheriff’s Office in 2004.

His motto of Live to Train and Train to Live stands as a staple to his students and peers in the industry and as the backbone for OP4 Security Solutions were its “The Little Things That Count!”
