I retired from Nursing to care for my husband during his terminal illness. Having been in a position to need help with him at times; I am now willing to be available to others for short periods of time for respite.
My RN licensure is in the state of TN. Although I am retired, I have kept my license current and active. I just completed the process of transferring it from KY to TN which included a background check and fingerprinting. I feel that it is time to "pay it forward" as I understand first hand the need for help when errands need to be completed but your loved one can no longer get out. My career history includes 10 years of ICU experience, 10 years in a cardiac cath lab and 5 years in clinical informatics.
