Hello, my name is Amanda Harris and I have been a nursing assistant for the past four years. Since December of last year I have been employed by the same family caring for a quadroplegic and his elderly father in his 80's with dementia. I have been working 12 hour shifts and trying to find a similar occupation with less daily hours. My non stop daily routine includes cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, anything of course needed of me. I enjoy what I do and wouldn't choose to do anything else. When you see the impact you can make on someone's life it makes it makes it a special experience for you as well.:)
