For approximately 6 months I cared for a lady who was 86 years old and bed-ridden. It was at her home and she was fed liquids and I changed her, changed her sheets and cooked meals for her husband.

Then, I cared for her husband who was in a nursing home. His family did not want him alone in his room so they paid for round the clock for someone to sit with him, dress, bathe, and wheel him to the dining area. He also ended up eventually becoming bed-ridden and I cared for his feeding tube, changed him, changed his bed linens and did grooming.

Additionally, I cared for a 96 year old. Originally I was hired by her to be a companion for her and help with some of the daily routine items and spent weekends and slept at her house 5 nights a week with her. I did her laundry, washed dishes, cooked meals and helped her with bathing and some toiletry. I dispensed her medication, drove her to doctor appointments, pharmacy, grocery store and to church. She was pretty able bodied but could not see well. She eventually became bedridden of which I took care of her grooming, toiletry, and changing clothes and linens, and I saw her thru until she recently passed away.

I also have an interest in being a pet sitter.
