LCDC/CART (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor/Certified Anger Resolution Therapist) with 18 years' experience in working with adolescents and adults who have substance abuse and dependency problems, eating disorders, co-occurring addictions (sex, gambling, shopping, work and co-dependency) behavioral problems, trauma/PTSD, mental illness and psychiatric conditions. Assisted in running 4 additional half-way houses, conducted family session/groups and experience as a program director, developing, training and facilitating groups (process, educational, yoga, music, inner-child therapy, guided imagery, 12-steps and relapse prevention planning) in a psychiatric/behavioral center for the past 12 years. Case management roles/duties, coordinating with Dr's and the treatment team, provided transportation for patients/clients to 12-step meetings and coordinating with any outside resources
(probation, parole, family members, BCAR, CPS) to develop healthy/effective aftercare plans along with personal experience sponsoring women in the program and speaking as a guest speaker in local AA/NA meetings.
