Hello,
My name is Angela, I truly love being a caregiver because first and foremost, I have the upmost respect for anyone that is no longer able to function in their daily life. I cared for my father who suffered a stroke and lost his independence within seconds, it was very hard to see my father go from energy independence to depending on a caregiver. I moved in with my dad, became a full-time caregiver, in every sense of that word. I cleaned, cooked, daily home errands, took him to his medical appointments, assisted him with taking his medications daily, made sure he did his daily exercises, all in all, I started hands on with caregiving for my dad and to this day I assist my employer in my current part-time job with he4 daily functions, caring, making sure she also takes her meds, clean her home, organize many detail functions. I love my work and find it very rewarding, I see and understand that I will someday become at the age where I will need same care.
I appreciate and enjoy every moment helping others. There is nothing that I won't do to assist in any way I can, knowing it will help and make life easier for a kind person.
