Past 3 years I sat with a lady who was bed bound with copd and also a diabetic. I bathed, gave meds,and checked blood levels everyday..I also cooked and cleaned and did all grocery shopping and paid all bills and other employees. Her family was all in California and so far away..it made me very happy to put a smile on her face everyday..we would watch tv, play games and just talk about families..everyone needs a companion in their life just to be there and know they have someone there that cares..in the end she passed away but I was beside her till the very end and she still holds a place in my heart..i just want to be able to help others that need me
