Patty H. Care Companion in Buda, TX 78610

I have 5 years of experience as an elder-care provider, primarily working with Alzheimer's patients in varying stages of the disease.  I have done live-in care as well as daycare for both men and women, ages 62-85.  I am currently not interested in live-in, but would love to find someone that I could help during the day with their daily needs to be able to stay in their home.  I love to cook and can work with any dietary needs to make them meals (and can even stock their freezer with meals they can microwave if that would be helpful).  I'll help with personal care, cleaning, errands, taking them to appointments and shopping, paperwork and give them companionship - whatever your loved one needs.  I have worked with stroke, heart and diabetic patients, as well as care after rehab to get them functioning again in their home after a fall.  I've been a nanny for the last 2 years, but I miss being able to help my older friends.  (My perfect job would be a family with a couple of little ones and a grandparent that needs some help...:)   I live in Buda and would like to stay somewhere out this way (at least south of Slaughter Lane).  If you are interested, please get in touch and let me know how I can help you.   Thanks!  Patty
