Hi there, I'm Ray.
I haven't had a ton of experience in compassion care, although I helped a lot when my grandparents weren't able to do certain things. My other grandmother had dementia. While I was a cook at the facility she had lived, I helped her as well as other residents, assisting with their specific wants and needs.
I'm a chef school graduate with 25 years in cooking. I don't work in that field anymore because I have chronic back pain. I've catered to people my whole working life. Making them happy, makes me happy.
I've been told over the years that I'm really good and patient with the elderly.
I take that compliment to heart!
