I recently got my master's degree in journalism, and I'm looking to explore different areas of work while I figure out what to do next. I'm very outgoing, and I love spending time with people, whether that's going for walks, reading aloud, cooking or simply watching TV.
I've never worked specifically as a "care companion" before, but I've spend a lot of time taking care of my grandparents. I even lived with my grandmother in an assisted living facility for a week when she first moved in, and I got to know all of the folks on her floor by name. I really enjoyed learning more about all the people who live there and making them feel that someone genuinely wants to listen to them and be with them.
