Amanda’s Bio
As a 90s baby growing up in suburbia South Carolina, naturally, through high school I helped in watching the neighbors kids on date night or overtime nights or after school or what have you
Through life I've found that there's nothing more rewarding and nothing I would prefer to be spending my time doing than taking care of people.
So I perused my career path and I've decided to try this thing on my own and set up a sittercity account and I'm very excited to see where this goes.
I worked for a couple years with a special needs caregiving company called The SC Mentor Network. I worked with 3 guys from ages early twenties to mid fifties. Occasionally picking up hours and shifts for other female and male homes whenever I could and I absolutely loved my job.
Some of my responsibilities included preparing meals, providing activities, laundry, cleaning, showers, accountability, distribution of medication, any needed transportation, monitoring blood pressure levels among many other responsibilities.
I have all the patience in the world, I'm genuine and kids and people of all ages tend to love my easy going nature. I would love to hear from anyone with any questions on more experience details or just anything.
