Hi, I'm Amber James! I'm a 34-year-old freelance nanny/babysitter who has served the Dallas, Plano, and Frisco (DFW) area for 10 years. I'm in the 75201 area of Downtown Dallas Victory Park. I’ve been a professional nanny for ten years for newborns to teens ft, pt, & occasional. I cater to occasional, backup, overnights in and out of state, out of town residence, twins and multiples, clients new to the area, last minute, 24/7 opening, clients with no family in town, and sick care needs as well as overall child-care coverage.
I work weekdays, date nights, travel, overnights, weekends special events, parent escapes, and etc. I’ve worked for 5 separate long term nanny positions and 2 daycare for up to 10 to 30 kids at a time. I’m CPR and first aid trained so no worries! I care for children from newborn-teens, and multiples, & even pets.

I found Amber on this site, and although I've only needed her to sit once, I am thankful to have found her! She's bubbly, punctual, and organized. My 8-year old son had a great time with her. Highly recommended!

Amber was trustworthy, competent and on time when babysitting my three little ones - ages 4, 3 and 1. She's a great young lady. You will not be disappointed. Call her - she's great!
Amber has helped us on a number of occasions as a backup to our full-time nanny. She is reliable and was able to get our 2 young children (1 and 3) to warm up to her very quickly. She is great at play, fixing meals and helping our preschooler get ready for bed. I would recommend her.
Amber has been our nanny and an immediate part of our family for 6 months. Not only has she fulfilled our expectations around child care and household care, she has come through for us delivering extra help on special requests. Our children adore her and have learned a great deal from Amber. Amber was with us during a very challenging adoption transition and remained calm and nuturing during the entire time. Another one of Amber's strengths is she got to know my specific preferences on things relative to the kids and the house, and tried to meet those and anticipate needs.
We feel very fortunate to have had Amber as our full time nanny. Now that our schedule needs have reduced, we will look forward to a continuing friendship and baby sitter relationship with Amber.
