This will be my first time but last year September I had to put my father in a nursing home he was a double amputee. I could not bring them home because I could not afford a 24 hour nurse. I wish I had just quit my job then to care for him because of the neglect that he received from the nursing home he passed December 22 and it’s been very hard for me to get over its been difficult to get back to work. It hurts and I miss him I don’t wish anyone to go to a nursing home. Recently I was let go because my performance had not been as good as it used to be because of all this time I spent with my father and also had to keep up with my full-time job. I also was responsible to also sign hospice papers pay for his cremation pick up his ashes send a certificate so I have had a lot on my shoulders. It feels good now not to be working at an office that I had no sympathy for me. I worked so hard for them and the day I signed hospice papers I was caring for the owners dog so I never put my life on hold I try to help everyone I wanted to be there for everyone so now I am looking for something temporary. I am a very little person not too sure I can lift too much that’s my only problem.
