Hello my name is Hanna Johansen. I am 25 years old. I am a very optimistic, compassionate, responsible and outgoing person. I strongly believe that my purpose in life to serve others in any way that God calls me to. A little bit about my history: I graduated from the University of Northwestern, St Paul Minnesota in the spring of 2015. There I obtained my BS in psychology and worked as a program counselor for a group home called ACR homes. ACR stands for Acceptance, Communication and Respect. It was the most rewarding job of my life! I was able to work with individuals of all different ages and backgrounds. Each individual had their own specialized plan and needs; however they all had developmental disabilities. My job consisted of providing daily cares such as bathing, dressing, changing briefs, administering medications, feeding, spending quality time with the residents, taking them to doctor's visits and outings, stay with them during hospital stays, and ultimately just be there for them and advocate for them. After school, I moved on to different work and even took time to care for my grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer. Now she is doing much better and I am ready to serve another family. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon!
