My name is Natali Richie. I have been a caregiver for 5 years. I started in 2015 with the company Professional Caregivers. I’ve worked in senior care facilities as well as private homecare. My responsibilities have included: preparing and serving meals, helping with daily activities such as bathing and dressing, laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, running errands, attending Dr. Appointments, medicine reminder and monitoring, scheduling appointments and transportation. I have experience with dementia care, Parkinson’s, diabetes, and clients who use the wheelchair. I am trained on board transfer and using a gait belt. I originally became a caregiver to help people one on one who need it the most. I’m a very patient and empathetic person so this job, though sometimes challenging, has been rewarding to me.
