My name is La'Deidra, and I am a 51 year old mom of a college senior. I have my bachelors degree in Social Work with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. I have just moved to Texas, and I am planning to take classes to complete my masters degree.
I have 35 years of experience working with, and raising children. (my own, as well as several other family members and friends in need.)
I am the CEO of the Bridging the Gap Leadership Program. Bridging the Gap is an 8 week mentoring program designed to build a culture to promote and support lifelong healthy habits for success.
Bridging the Gap addresses the importance of education, domestic violence, human trafficking, the law and me, employment exploration options, job college preparation, self-respect and etiquette, relationships, financial literacy as well as mental, physical, and emotional health.
