Hello,
I am a 57 year old student working on my doctorate in psychology and seeking a care companion or respite care position that will allow me to make a bit of money as well as continue my educational goals
I have 5 years of Hospice Volunteer experience and cared for my father for 5 years before Alzheimers took his life. I have been caring for another Alzheimers patient in kind for rent which I am amiable to in the right situation. I have a masters degree in Human Services and can provide transcripts if necessary.
$10.00 an hour is good if all I do is care for the patient; however if I must My rates increase to $12 per hour for bathing and house cleaning. I have a Red Cross CPR certificate and trained as an EMT at Baytown's Lee College. I hope to hear from you shortly! Donna Barwig
