I've been a caregiver for over 20 years. When my father became ill, my mother had to continue working but my father needed care at home, I became his caregiver. I became my mother's caregiver when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. A friend from church didn't show up at church one Sunday and I came to check on her, long story short, I've been in Maypearl ever since. I will do anything to make life easier for elderly people. I love spending time with the elderly and listening to their stories.My father died in 1993, my church friend passed 3 years ago and my mother passed away last year. I worked for Angels at Home for 9 years. I am currently an independent contractor but am without a client.
