Adelina L. Care Companion in Port Neches, TX 77651

I am a 21 year old student pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. I currently am a Certified Nursing Assistant with a BLS, CPRS, and AED certification as well. I fell in love with the medical profession when I was sixteen years old and helped care for my grandmother who had colon cancer. I believe it is such an honor to be able to care for someone when they are in need. Though my end career goal is to be a Registered Nurse I have loved my experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant. I enjoy vising with my patents and getting to know more about them, in a way I think of them as my family. I have not had any experience as a Care Companion but I am eager to do so, and believe my compassion and experience as a CNA will allow me to do well in the field. As a CNA I enjoy being able to participate in conversations with my patients but with the other job duties I must fulfill it sometimes is not as much as i would like to give. As a Care Companion I would be able to devote my time and attention to clients and I feel that is extremely important.
