I have worked for a local Long Term Care facility in Weatherford, Texas for just over a year. I assist patients with Activities of Daily Living as well as just being there for them and their family members during their last days or hours. I became a Certified Nurse Aide through the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services in January of 2014 to better prepare myself for Nursing School, but found my true calling to work in geriatrics. I would like to work as a private sitter to try something new, something different than the LTC setting.
