I have been doing home Caregiver work for the last 7 years. I got started doing this work when my mother became terminally ill with cancer back in 2010. I quit my job to take care of her full time and found out that I truly enjoy caring for elderly patients. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and have worked as a social worker in the past. I have done hourly, overnight and 24 hour care for 7 elderly patients. I assist with cooking, cleaning, bathing, grooming, and toileting. I can run errands, assist clients to doctor appointments, engage in socializing and conversation. I have dealt with end of life situations and work with hospice and other home health companies and nurses.
