My name is Nina and I am currently seeking an opportunity to be a child or adult caregiver one night during the week or on the weekends. I am a young professional who has a fulltime position during the week and has some flexibility to provide caregiving. My experience of caregiving is with that of my family. During the summers, I would often care for my 4 year old cousin while my aunt and uncle were gone for the day. This included playing games, playing with toys, watching children shows, reading books, preparing snacks and small meals, and changing diapers/undergarments as needed. I also have experience providing light care and companionship for adults 70 and above. One of my first experiences was with my grandmother before she passed away in 2007. I would visit during summers and provide light cleaning, prepare small meals and provide companionship. My grandmother's Alzheimer's taught me to be very patient and thankful for my independence. I am now taking care of my grandfather. My grandfather is 85 and in good health. I visit a few times a year and provide light cooking, cleaning and companionship. I love to shop for him. He sometimes needs new pants, shirts or shoes and loves when I pick them out for him. I think he still has many more years to enjoy life and it makes him feel good when he has something nice to wear. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and feel confident that I can take care of your loved ones. A number of co-workers and friends have often referred to me as "motherly". I am a very compassionate person who would love the opportunity to assist your family.
