As a PCA my job description included the following: assistance with ambulation, transfers -showering/bathing client -incontinence care -oral/skin care -hair care -monitoring medicines -preparing meals -household cleaning -driving to and from appointments -providing companionship -keeping logs of food and medicine intake
As a parent/babysitter: diaper changing, feeding, bathing, dressing, entertaining, educating, having a general motherly instinct with children in what they need while keeping boundaries in place and respecting parent/guardian wishes, providing safe and nurturing environment for positive and healthy growth.
