I'm Kassandra Gatewood, CNA, graduate of both, Albemarle High School and CATEC. I first decided to enroll in the Nursing Assistant program (2012-2013) at CATEC because I was in search for a new license in which I would enjoy doing. My accomplishments vary from: Highly praised for exceptional care for residents, Achieved target goals of resident care plans, Great time-management and communication skills, Basic computer knowledge and good interpersonal teamwork skills. Some of my previous job duties for both, at home care and facility, would include, providing a safe environment for patients, assist patients with household services such as cleaning and laundry, providing for activities of daily living by assisting with meals, bathing and feeding, monitor patient safety and vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
My special knowledge that could benefit my position include Patient safety/monitoring, healthcare software, HIPPA regulations, Infection Control and Medical terminology.
Career Objective: Personable and reliable nursing professional with experience in dementia, acute and rehabilitation care. Very eager to work, committed to achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction.

I do have my Virginia state drivers license along with a good driving experience record to fulfill all needs and satisfaction, I do have previous experience in both at home care and facility work, as I like working in a at- home setting, I have a thorough understand of what needs to be done, I am currently going to school for a business major (as that can tend to get busy, this is why I am looking for direct patient care by being one-on-one with your family member.
