Hello, my name is Pamela.
I'm looking for regular evenings and/or overnight opportunities. Occasional weekends as well. I have 20 years of experience working in private homes ranging from household management, elder care, nanny work, etc. For 5 years, I cared for an adult with Lyme disease as her assistant. For most of 2023, I cared for an elderly woman with memory issues. My tasks ranged from helping with dinner set up, bedtime routine, checking on her overnight, and breakfast set up in the morning. We listened to music, played games, etc.
I currently work part-time for a nonprofit as a finance manager. I make my schedule, so I'm flexible and available some daytime hours.
I love cooking and listening to music.

My wife and I hired Pam for a much needed date night. This was the first time we have hired a babysitter, so my wife was nervous about it.
Pam was great. My 8 year old daughter gave us the full report when we got home. We got home at 11pm, the twin boys were asleep (which is a rarity) in their room and my daughter was sleeping on the couch. She was able to keep up with my 2 year olds and when it was time for them to sleep, she even sang to them (reported by my daughter) to help them fall asleep. Once they were asleep, she played board games with my daughter until around 10:30 (we told her that our daughter could stay up as late as she wanted tonight). I would recommend Pam to anyone who is looking for a night off from the kids and will definitely hire her in the future.
