I have lots of experience working with people of all ages, ethnicities, and all walks of life. Having a degree in HumanResource Development and over 25 years of Human Resources experience I bring a lot to the table. I truly enjoy interacting with people and having a four year old grandson has enhanced my patience. My experience in the companion\sitter field has been with family and friends. My mother had Pancreatic cancer and for the last thirteen months of her life it was mine and my sister's privilege to make sure that all of her needs were met and that she had good, nutritious meals. I was also able to stay with my brother every weekday during his last months and prepare breakfast and lunch with him. We had many lively conversations and I have memories that will last a lifetime. So I have no formal training in this line of work but life experience. Having recently relocated back to my hometown of Lynchburg, I am looking for a part-time position to enrich my life. For the past few years I had been sitting my grandson but he started school in September. Part time adult sitting fits well with my unique set of skills.
