Terri’s Bio
I have been working for home instead senior care for the past 10 Year’s caring for a variety of senior citizens. A few of my clients required caring for them for several years at a time. The first one I cared for for about 4 years and the second client (which was a couple) I cared for for about 3 1/2 years.. In addition to working for home instead, I also was the caregiver for my mom for about 7 years before she passed away last year. I have had Alzheimer’s training and in the 10 years working at home instead, I have had about 100 clients put under my care with a variety of needs that need to be met. Housekeeping duties, doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, medication reminders, and even just some companionship. I have a Bachelor’s degreee as well as a Master’s Degree in Health Education. I am currently taking care of a couple that are in their nineties on a part time basis and am seeking to acquire one or two more part time clients.
