Daniel’s Bio

I have an interest in helping others to have a fuller, more comfortable life. I worked three years through an agency as a direct support caregiver. I have supported both male and female individuals, ranging in age from 20-45. All of the people I cared for had some level of intellectual disability. Other diagnosis included Down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy and autism. The level of support needed ranged from needing help with virtually every part of their life to fairly self-sufficient, but needing supervision. This type of work is very rewarding to me. I have always wanted to help those who need it, and being a caregiver is the most direct path to this that I have found.

My training and certifications include: CPR; First Aid; Medication administration certification; Mandt System training; CPI training; Human rights training.
