I have no certifications but I have been a companion to an elderly Alzheimer's individual for over a year. She has a need to have someone with her all the time. I go the extra mile with her though. I make sure we do things that are familiar to her but I try to add one thing different.
I have also been providing care for an elderly woman who needs more intensive care. She is too frail to perform everyday tasks for herself. I help her with many things from brushing her hair to helping her shower.
I am also the mother of 2 young men I raised into wonderful, responsible, hard working, capable men.
Although I don't have any certifications, I have many years of experience as a mother of my 2 children and our cats and dogs
I paid for a background check 3 months ago that cost more than I could afford at the time. Now after only 3 months it has apparently expired meaning I have to pay again. I am 55 years old now. What trouble am I going to get into in 3 months.
Since the first background check found absolutely nothing in my records, and there is very little opportunities in my local area on this site, I feel my experience, age, and references should speak for themselves. I have not gotten any jobs from this site. My current jobs are from local references. So I will not pay for another background check for this site. A background check should be good for longer than 3 months. I feel this is a ruse for this site to charge money.
