Learning to accept the changes in my Grandmother's and my mother's life, I have grown in patience and understanding as the transition into a new lifestyle. I have learned to help my mother with better eating habits for her diabetes and encourage her to take up new hobbies to help her accept her own change. By educating myself on better ways of eating, I was given the opportunity to have the opportunity to cook for a man with Ataxia, and do occasional overnight house sit with him, for his sleep apnea, when his permeates house sitters have engagements.
