Caleb T. Care Companion in Edmonds, WA 98020

My name is Caleb Tizon and I am a twenty-five-year old undergraduate student at Antioch University Seattle. I am pursuing a BA with a concentration in Psychology & Counseling, and plan to start graduate school in the Fall for either Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Social Work. I have not had a lot of experience in regards to working in social services, but it is truly what I am passionate about, as I have learned from my brief volunteering and my educational experiences. I volunteered with fifth-graders in the Philippines last year, tutoring them in values such as entrepreneurship and poverty relief. Previously, I chose to work in a hospital cafeteria because it put me closer to the type of environment that I wanted to be in while still utilizing the skills that I had learned in my prior work experience. However, as I am now nearing the end of my undergraduate education, I feel very much ready to be in the field and helping make a direct difference in the lives of those with needs.
