My name is Jacklyn and I am 28 years old.  I am interested in part time senior care.  I have experience working for a lady caring for her mother and currently volunteer with Rockwood Retirement Center in North Spokane.  I have experience with special meals, hearing aids, encouraging and planning creative activities, house cleaning (laundry, sweeping/mopping, dusting, dishes, vacuuming, etc.), and various other needed forms of assistance.
My grandmother, Nana, is a dear friend, companion, and confidante of mine.  I enjoy her company and have learned a great deal about selfless love from her.  She and my grandpa Paul (RIP Dec '10) are the primary reasons why I believe senior care to be a priority and a privilege.  I gain friends and take joy from making one day a little bit easier for those who are involuntarily losing their independence.
About me: I am a fun, spunky, animated, singer, theatre major from Whitworth University who loves Disney, snowboarding, swimming, dancing and animals!  I have a vibrant personalty and get along well with all different personality types, disorders, moods, religions, ethnic backgrounds, age.  I have 1 year experience volunteering with Rockwood Retirement Center.
