Hi My name is Margaret and I have been a caregiver for about 15 years now . Both adults as well as children . I have cared for Alzheimer's patients, Dementia patients, stroke patients, children with ADD , Children with Down syndrome, Children with seizures. I have had no specific training besides CPR and first aid but learn as I go . When ask to do something I am shown how and I do it . test blood sugar , take blood pressure, give meds , feed through a feeding tube in the stomach , give baths , cook , clean up and more . Why am I good at what I do ? I guess because I care . I am patient, kind , considerate, I treat others the way I want to be treated but I also enjoy my work . I like to stay busy helping and will look for things to do . I am clean and I don't mind cleaning up some . I am on time but flexible with your schedule . Children say they like me because I listen , I spend time with them helping them get things done and I'm nice to them . Parents like that I'm dependable and really helpful . Seniors like that they can trust me , well everyone likes that . I keep an updated background check , I have a clear drivers record , even the state has my background clean for the past 25 years . I have great reference letters , cards and if you need to speak to someone I can give you a number . I've stopped watching children for a short time until they get a vaccine for covid but if you need senior care , pet sitter or house sitting I would like to hear from you .
