I choose to be a CNA a few years ago, mainly to get out of factory but also because I have always enjoyed caring for people. I am of mother of 3 of my own children plus 2 step kids, who have all grown. I was a CNA in our local Nursing home for 8 years, and thoroughly enjoyed it, moved onto being a PCT and working with Dialysis patients for the last 3 years, and have enjoyed that also. I am looking to cut back a little though as my husband and I also run our own business so flexibility is something I am starting to eye up. Since becoming certified as a PCT I have let my CNA lapse but I assure you I can always renew it if need be.
