Jane’s Bio
I have over 20 years experience working with individuals with different diagnosis and ages including cognitive and physical disabilities. I worked with a family member whom was disabled, through agencies and private care. I have worked for families who needed 24 hour care and others that needed a few hours per day. I have provided a multitude of diverse tasks. Some examples include meal planning, cooking, shopping, bathing, dressing, feeding, laundry, cleaning, taking care of pets, paying bills, bringing clients on outings and to appointments, etc. Whatever it takes to care for an individual that allows them to have dignity and peace of mind. I have had background checks through the county, ADRC and private families and have several references from families whom I have assisted with their loves ones. I have a degree in Accounting in which I worked many years while assisting my family member and my mothers clients after work and weekends. I decided to move to client care full time approximately ten years ago as that is what I believe my calling is. It is important to note for individuals with allergies that I do have cats and a parrot.
