There are many activities in my life that I have truly enjoy, but nothing compares to assisting the elderly. The love, compassion, and joy that I have for the elderly is incredibly overwhelming. I've never had the opportunity to work one on one with seniors but have always wanted to. My experience comes from 3 years of working in assisted living facilities. I loved it but like I explained have always wanted to help with in home care. I believe it becomes more personal that way. It would give the resident reassurance that I wouldn't have to leave to take care of someone else, and create a special bond between the resident and I. My goal would be to make sure your relative would get the best care, physically, mentally and emotionally.
