Hi my name is Joy, I'm currently retired from the educational field where I taught physical education and health for 13 years, I was also a Dean of Students as well as an Athletic Director for 15 years. I

Some of my experience in companion care was taking care of an elderly woman who live in Brookfield. She broke her hip, and I took her to her doctor appointments, Physical Therapy appointments, grocery shopping, and helped he prepare meals and some odds jobs around the house. Some times we would talk for hours, she was very lonely.

I have American Red Cross certification in adult, child, and infant CPR. I also have First Aid certifications. I have BS in Education with a Minor in Health Sciences and Athletic Coaching, and hold a K-12 license from the state of WI.

We absolutely loved having Joy as our babysitter. She was with us for 2.5 years; the only reason that she's not currently with us is because she moved too far away :(

Joy is reliable, trustworthy, honest, and an all around great person. She was very active with our kids and was always on the ground playing with them and having fun. We introduced a newborn to the mix after Joy had been with us for about a year and she did phenomenal.

We required early mornings and some late evenings and Joy was always able to accommodate our needs. She is a safe driver as well and we trusted her with driving our kids to and from daycare. She truly is a gem and we'd highly recommend her to anyone!

We interviewed Joy by phone and live. Checked references and got a positive recommendation. We had mutual agreement she would be our Summer Nanny. 1 week before start of summer, texted and called several times to set a schedule with no response, leaving us without a Nanny. Very disappointed in how Joy handled this situation, with 2 days to find a replacement!!
