Hi, thanks for taking the time and interest to get to know me. I am a wife and a mother of two amazing young men who are both currently in college. I have been a special education teacher, educational diagnostician and behavior specialist for the school district that I live in for over 15 years. As you know, this takes a lot of patience, dedication, compassion and understanding. I have worked with the most behaviorally challenging students and take pride in my ability to build and maintain those relationships. In many ways, having dogs was my respite . I am passionate about dogs and have been fortunate enough to have had three in the last 20 years. Although they have not always been easy, I have the right demeanor and personality to deal with any and all dogs, including puppies that need training. I love to exercise and go for long walks, I also like to sit and cuddle if that is something that they enjoy. I have a very nurturing personality and consider my dogs to be my family. If you choose to have me dog sit for you, I will treat yoir dogs as if they are my own. The only challenging part of that job would be to say goodbye at the end of the assignment.

As for why I’m applhkng so far away from home, I am currently in the process of exploring different areas I am considering for retirement. I was in Nashville for a very short time a few months ago, and absolutely fell in love with it. I’m hoping that a house and dog sitting opportunity will give me a real feel for what it would be like to actually live there.
