Part-time nanny required for a lower Manhattan family with 4 young children (ages 6 and under) beginning ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for providing care (alongside another caregiver) to the children including managing activities, tidying, cooking help occasionally, and children’s laundry. General schedule will be Friday afternoons, 6-12 hour days Saturday & Sunday. Flexibility to work outside of these hours (with advance notice) may also be needed. This is a fast-paced and demanding role with high expectations; proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and having a team oriented mindset while remaining calm and collected is essential in this role. Adhering to and helping to facilitate planned schedules as well as partnering alongside other caregivers, house staff members, and parents is expected. The family values someone who is extremely motivated, warm and upbeat, enjoys being active, and takes initiative with the children and around the house.
