Hi my name is Ashlynn Burger, I am 22 years old and currently live in Soldotna, AK. I am looking for a wonderful family to nanny for and would prefer a live in position. For the last couple of years I have been acting as a live in nanny for my niece, who is now 5, to help my sister, a single, working mother. Her circumstances have changed for the better and she no longer needs my assistance. While helping my sister I discovered that I really enjoy this line of work and would love to continue it. Although I do not have any formal experience being a live in nanny, I have had many years of child care experience and would love the opportunity to learn and experience more. I have had about 4.5 years of professional experience working with all ages of children, whether it be a daycare Read more center or preschool, and about 8 years of informal babysitting for family and friends. I am CPR and first aid certified and have multiple hours of continuing education and training hours in child development. I prefer working as a nanny as apposed to a daycare center because there is more one on one time and opportunities to help the children grow.
