I am currently enrolled in Auburn University with a Early Childhood Special Education major. I have worked in a day care system for four years. I worked with various children between the ages of 1-7. Most of these classrooms consisted of six to eight children. I worked in the 2-year-old classrooms one year as a "floater." This consisted of going through all of the classrooms and helping the workers change diapers, calm crying children, and clean up. I worked in the 1-year-old classroom for two years. One of these years, we had a 6-month-old in the room as well. I have also volunteered at vacation bible school at a local church for three years. One of the years I was with 4-year-olds and the other two I was with 2-year-olds. I have been told I am very patient, kind, and good with children.
