Having a strong Christian faith, I love to serve and to be a part of loving, entertaining, interacting with, and nurturing children. I have just moved from Birmingham where I was a nanny and preschool assistant for three years. Before my season in Alabama I served for three months in Uganda at an orphanage for kids with special needs and was awakened to a passion of caring for vulnerable children. I am now a foster mama to the most precious little 5 year old girl. While I am currently a full time nanny to a 4 year old and 1 year old, I and am looking for occasional additional hours in the evenings and on weekends. I nanny from my home on Daniel Island and am also interested in a nanny share and would be open to taking on one additional child. Please contact me if this interests you. Chalice had a very challenging experience when caring for my 8 year old granddaughter who acted out with strong defiance, especially on her first night with her. Chalice showed great maturity and caring as she overcame the obstacles given her. The fact that Chalice continued to work for me as she was determined to show my granddaughter a positive experience speaks volumes to her dedication and caring ways. Chalice is a wonderful sitter! My kids loved her and kept asking for her days after she left. It was the first time we had ever left our kids with anyone other than family and she made us feel completely at ease. We plan to have Chalice watch our kids for future date nights!
