I am currently pursuing a degree in nursing in order to one day assist in the health and well being of infants and children in need of medical care. I decided many years ago, when my two older sisters started families of their own, that I was born to take care of children. I have helped raise 2 boys and 2 girls from birth until now; all of them are now under the age of seven. I have also spent many years training and working as a veterinary technician, and I have found absolute peace in taking care of animals. As an undergraduate of UAB, I studied psychology and communications, and I believe that my education has helped further my understanding of the importance of a child's formative years.
